Gramam Homestay in Kerala is surrounded with backwater lagoons, welcoming eco-tourists and nature lovers all year round. They use eco-friendly bio-gas cooking system. Farm and garden are maintained by using local organic manure. They serve sea food, fruits and vegetables produced and collected locally. No chemical fertilizers and pesticides are used in the farms. Home made wine and toddy, the local brew from coconut tree is encouraged. No mechanized or speed boats are supported in the backwater,
only locally made traditional country boats are promoted with the help of local men
